God Bites Man (7)

We are tracking the death this Earth in less than sixty years, and observing the Tower of Babble of human affairs as that death, unseen and unwanted to be seen, creeps closer and closer; and most importantly we are attempting to report on the intervention by God to save this Earth from the human being.

Today we are expecting, and have advertised that we are expecting, a detectable action by God against the Prime Minister of Japan, who is code-named "Silly Willy" in this work.

In our observation of the tableau of Space War we have watched for years God's movements against the United States of America as the chief factor in the murder of this Earth by the human being, and it was only in June that we saw Japan lumped by God with the US in that category.

God's presence can rarely be seen amidst the jumble and rumble of human affairs, and often acts of man are misinterpreted as acts of God, and acts of God are misinterpreted as accidents; so you can perhaps understand the excitement we I.C. News are feeling as we look to the news today in expectation of seeing our God Bites Man exclusive played out in Japan.

Of course the most striking news story these days is the ridiculousness and hysteria of the American news media in its reporting of the Korea story; the media by comparison making the abysmal ignorance of those who occupy the White House seem almost like Solomonian wisdom.

The key to this media folly can be found in two things:  the holdover of newspaper yellow journalism from the days before TV, and yellow journalism having been turned from yellow to gold by television; and the incredible lack of education of people in TV news coverage.

In the early days of TV news the lead reporters were former leading print news reporters, but as the craft of TV news developed, the younger people going in were educated in the art of speech articulation and script reading, and sitting up straight before the camera, and hair style, and good wardrobe, and they only in general terms learned the history, politics and economics of the world.

And what did they have to know?  They had a teleprompter to read and an earphone in their ear telling them what questions to ask guests and what to tell the TV audience.

Consequently, as the younger TV news people become senior there followed with them an obscene lack of education and knowledge of the world, or even of good journalism, and with them came their spouting of a steady stream of slanted language such as seen in a report today of a "mouthpiece" making a statement, when what was meant was a "North" Korean government spokesman.

There was a statement a day or two ago by some blank, beautiful TV face that the "North" Korean missiles had landed IN THE SEA OF JAPAN, the implication being the Sea of Japan belongs to Japan and comes close to being the same as Japanese territory, like the Indian Ocean belongs to the nation of India.

There has been absolutely no understanding of the history of Korea expressed in the news media, and no understanding that the Japanese enslaved Korea for decades until 1945, and that the United States and the Soviet Union committed a great crime against the Korean people by splitting them north and south.

There is no awareness in the American news media that even in modern times when there is trouble between the Japanese and the Koreans, Korean school children living in Japan risk facing harassment on the streets, Korean girls being easily identified because they wear traditional Korean clothing.

At the time of the great earthquake in Japan in 1929 superstitious Japanese blamed the quake on resident Koreans and Koreans were murdered in the streets of Tokyo by roaming mobs looking for them.  The mobs would demand that suspected Koreans say the Japanese word for "friend", which the Koreans do not articulate well, and would kill them if the word was mispronounced.

This historical incident, of course, is way out of context, but what we are talking about here is hysteria, and hysteria is what the American news media is selling to the American people these days.

Hysteria is a monster, whether it is being carried by roving bands in Tokyo seeking vengeance for an earthquake, or a gaggle of TV talking heads proclaiming the Devil lives in Pyongyang, or Caracas, or Bogota, or Havana, or Tehran, or that shining example of the result of American hysteria, Baghdad.

One of those pretty, vacuous TV faces yesterday referred to the fact that "a war" had once been fought between "North" and "South" Korea, but it was clear she knew nothing more about the Korean War which killed tens of thousands of Americans than the line she was reading from the teleprompter.

Of course, the Yellow Menace that was the Japanese during World War Two is now the Pretty Japanese People, and their murder of millions is but a burp in history, and the old yellow journalism word "menace" is applied to the "North" Koreans; but when I was in college it was applied to Communist China, now America's valued trading partner.

It seems to me that throughout my nearly 67 years there has always been a Yellow Menace for the American media to point to; and it seems to me the height of American stupidity to think a nation Republican American Fascism called part of "The Axis of Evil" as soon as it usurped the White House should not today be in a fight posture.

"Axis of Evil"?  Think about the assault, think about the threat, think about the fight-causing impact of that term.  George W. Bush painted a Bull's Eye on "North" Korea, and the only thing "North" Korea could possibly do to get that Bull's Eye removed is kiss George W. Bush's Republican American Fascist ass.

The Americans create monsters, deranged beasts, rogue nations out of those who are not dancing to the American tune.  This puts real solutions to real situations out of reach.

This ignorance snowballs with talking head after talking head in TV news interviews talking about the monster of Asia and its great threat against the United States of America, a threat which exists only within the paranoid hysteria of journalists, like self-frightening children telling ghost stories on a sleep-over. .

It is madness.  It is the savages dancing around the  big fire, waving their spears and calling up the spirits to help them defeat the monsters just like them who live across the river, and who dance around the big fire there.

All this madness, all the crap you hear and see on TV, absolutely and totally misses the point.  The planet Earth will be dead and the human being will be extinct in less than 60 years.  "North" Korea is a minor player in that catastrophe; America is the primary planet-killing rogue nation.
