Sometimes great and heinous lies are told, such as the lie of omission you are being told now; such as how you are not being told how close you came to nuclear war last week, how close to Hell you were taken by that perfect storm of stupidity, dishonesty and vanity who has usurped the Oval Office.

There is an old saying, "What you don't know won't hurt you", but I knew that old saying was wrong when I was six years old. If you do not learn this story you will be hurt very much by it; I mean if you do not learn this story from many journalists and intelligence people, not just me.
(By the way, a neighbor just struck me for writing the above paragraph. Ignorance is bliss, but ignorance sure is ugly.
(Yet, his striking me for writing those words illustrates my point. If Katie Couric showed him some knee on TV and said, "Virgil Kret broke this story", then he would, duh, believe it, because he needs the TV to tell him what to believe.)
As most readers know by now, i.c. News is generally ahead of the news; big stories, little stories, I.C. News is first. Last Thursday, July 5, I wrote these lines for you.

George W. Bush will try again and again to trigger nuclear war, because he believes God has given him a commission to send humankind to Hell.
